Francis Kadenge played for Maragoli, Re-Union and AFC Leopards in the top flight. It was at AFC Leopards where he made his name and went on to score 72 league goals. Only Wilberforce Mulamba and J.J Masiga scored more for Ingwe in the league. His most productive year infront of goal was in 1987 where he scored 20 goals, one more than Gor Mahia's Peter Dawo who had 19 but one less than Shabana's Henry Motego's who scored 21 goals that season.
